Position Overview:
As a Group Leader at Expanded Learning Academy, you'll play a pivotal role in independently overseeing and guiding groups of up to 20 students.
Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring their safety and well-being, delivering high-quality instruction, and aligning with the mission of Expanded Learning Academy.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in implementing curricula and program activities tailored to middle school students.
Effective classroom management skills to foster responsible student behavior and decision-making.
Genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with Elementary students.
Willingness and ability to self-reflect and enhance personal performance while embracing Expanded Learning Academy Standards, Policies, and Procedures, PBIS, and Social Emotional Learning principles.
Prior experience working with children or youth in a community-based setting.
Completion of 48 college units or the capability to pass the NCLB (No Child Left Behind) test in basic Math and English skills.
Successful completion of a TB test.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Requirements:
A heartfelt desire to work with children.
Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Possession of 48 College Units or NCLB (No Child Left Behind Certifications).
Proficiency in English.
Negative TB test result.
Reliable transportation.

Monday to Friday 1pm-6pm or 2pm-6pm
Hours:
Part-time: 4-5 hours per day at (one) school site.
Full-time opportunity available after 90 day probation
