*Job Title*: Budtender
*Reports To: *Budtender Lead/Store Manager
*FLSA Status: *Non-Exempt.
*Pay Scale: *$16.
50-$20/hr
*Summary of Position: *
The role of the Budtender is primarily patient facing.
The incumbent is to provide excellent customer care and patient satisfaction.
This includes greeting patients, assisting patients while their shopping and ensuring the store is always clean and presentable.
*Duties & Responsibilities: *
* Greet customers in a professional manager.
* Ability to verify customers paperwork, documentation and/or ID for purchase of products.
* Assist customers with product needs during their shopping experience.
* Ensure to be well-versed on all merchandise to educate customers with their specific needs.
* Ensure merchandise are well stocks in an orderly manner.
* Work professionally with direction from Budtender Lead and/or Manager.
* Help to maintain a clean and organized dispensary and sales floor.
* Maintain an accurate and balanced cash drawer.
* Organize and restock product displays in coordination with leads and managers.
* Performing other duties as assigned by lead and/or manager.
*Qualifications: *
* High work ethics, reliability and excellent attendance.
* Great verbal communication.
* Basic mathematical skills.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
* Prior industry experience is preferred, but no required.
* Enthusiasm and emotional intelligence.
* Be of legal age to sell cannabis in CA.
* Cash management skills.
*Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: *
* Heavy noise level, high patient and employee traffic, music and voices.
* Retail environment.
* Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, climbing, walking, standing.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds may be required.
